Job summary

Asian Paints in Cuttack, Odisha is seeking a capable team lead to manage Customer Associates and Sales Associates in the region. You will guide the team to achieve site-wise objectives, ensure adherence to processes, and drive usage of the Paint Assist app and focus products at customer sites.

The role involves monitoring day-to-day activities, coordinating with dealers, training new CAs/SAs, and ensuring timely lead conversion and collections while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree with 50%+ marks and no backlog.
• This role requires 1–2 years of sales experience in any organization.
• Willingness to lead and train field staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team of Customer Associates & Sales Associates in the region to ensure performance and adherence to processes.
• Drive usage of Paint Assist app and focus products at sites.
• Monitor on-time site visits, follow-ups, and debt/collections targets.
• Ensure timely lead assignment, conversion, and dealer interactions as needed.
• Update records of new joinees/exits at CA/SA level to SSE for reporting.
• Handle escalated customer and dealer complaints to maintain high satisfaction.
• Coach CAs for product pitching, processes, and site monitoring.
• Conduct random site visits to ensure compliance with tools, processes, and proper handover after cleaning.

External Job Description

Job Purpose

Lead the team of Customer Associates & Sales Associates in the region / allocated territory to ensure their performance in terms of delivering value, adherence to processes and guidelines at the sites, driving the usages of key / focus products at the sites, interact and manage dealers as and when required. Reporting of data as required to SSE, UH & central function.

Business Responsibility Areas

• Monitoring daily updates of all activities on the Paint Assist app.
• Daily monitoring of on time visits and follow ups to all new sites by customer associates (CA) or Sales Associates (SA).
• Daily monitoring of business collections by CA and ensuring delivery of month on month business objectives
• Ensuring prompt lead assignment and conversion of leads assigned to CAs/Sales Associates(SAs)
• Prompt updation of records of the new joinees/exits at a CA/SA level to SSE
• Handling escalated customer & dealer complaints ensuring high satisfaction scores
• Executing business generation initiatives in the assigned territory to generate business
• In store & onsite training to new CAs for processes, business app training, product pitching & site monitoring.
• Provide guidance to customer associates for pitching & conversion of focus products at the sites.
• Random site visits to ensure adherence to systems & processes like usage of mechanized tools, covering and masking, correct application process and on-time site handover after proper cleaning.
• Monitoring all ongoing / WIP sites to ensure on time work completion.

Qualifications

• Graduate Degree in any stream (BA/B.Sc./B.Com/BBA/BBM/BMS)
• Minimum of 50% marks throughout education without any backlogs

Previous Experience

1-2 years of experience in sales function in any organization
