Job summary

Asian Paints Limited seeks a frontline sales professional for Assam to drive décor category sales through furnishing and wallpaper retailers. You will work to achieve monthly and annual targets and strengthen the existing retailer network.

The role involves coordinating material delivery to retailers, engaging with architects/designers for secondary sales, and ensuring effective in-store displays and activations. You will monitor collections and sales metrics to sustain growth.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering monthly and annual sales targets and category plans.
• Coordinate material delivery to retailers.
• Sustain and expand retailer network.
• Monitor outstanding and collections from customers.
• Interact with architects and interior designers for secondary sales.
• Conduct shop staff training and customer activations.
• Handle customer issues and resolutions.
• Maintain visit metrics like DVR and VFI.
• Retail display upkeep and launch of new collections.

Job Purpose

The position is that of frontline sales personnel who would primarily be responsible for sales and penetration of Décor category products like wallpaper, furniture etc. in defined geographies through retailers (furnishing stores, furniture stores etc.)

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring delivery of monthly and annual promise sales figures and category level plans
• Coordination for material delivery to retailers.
• Responsible for sustenance of existing network and for Network expansion.
• Responsible for Monitoring Outstanding and Collections from customers
• Interaction with end customers like Architects, interior designers to help aid secondary sales
• Secondary sales activities like shop staff training, customer activations
• Customer handling and resolution and closure of issues.
• Regular adherence of visit metrics like DVR, VFI

Retailing:

• Upkeep of existing display, ensuring display of new range of products, presence of books of new collections, disposing and discarding old collections.
