Job summary

Purplle.com is looking for an HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join its Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will have an MBA in Human Resources and 2–5 years of experience in a similar role within the retail, FMCG, or beauty & cosmetics industry.

The HRBP will partner with retail business leaders to manage the complete employee lifecycle and drive HR initiatives, while also analyzing key HR metrics to support business growth across stores in Telangana.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist.
• Experience handling multiple retail locations and field employees.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned state.

Job Title: HR Business Partner (HRBP) – Retail

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with retail business leaders to drive end-to-end HR initiatives across stores in the region, ensuring alignment with business goals and supporting business growth.
• Manage the complete employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, grievance handling, and offboarding for retail store employees.
• Drive talent acquisition, manpower planning, and workforce productivity by partnering with hiring managers to ensure timely staffing across the assigned region.
• Track and analyze key HR metrics such as attrition, attendance, productivity, and employee performance, providing data‑driven insights and recommendations.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory compliance, and HR best practices while fostering a positive, high‑performance culture across the retail network.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist.
• Preferred Industry: Retail, FMCG, Beauty & Cosmetics.
• Experience handling multiple retail locations and field employees.
• Strong stakeholder management, employee relations, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and HRMS, with the ability to analyze HR data and prepare reports.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned state.
