Job summary

Webvi in India seeks an experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead the complete housekeeping operations of a luxury wellness resort, ensuring top cleanliness, hygiene, safety, guest comfort, and aesthetic presentation across guest rooms, public areas, and wellness facilities.

You will manage day-to-day operations, supervise staff, plan rosters, and monitor budgets while upholding NABH hygiene and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or related field.
• 8–12 years of experience in luxury hotel or wellness resort housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day housekeeping operations across guest rooms, villas, public areas and facilities.
• Lead and supervise housekeeping supervisors, room attendants and staff.
• Plan manpower, rosters, cleaning schedules and daily assignments.
• Ensure luxury hospitality standards in guest rooms and public areas.
• Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Handle guest requests, complaints and service recovery.
• Coordinate with Engineering for maintenance issues.
• Train, coach and develop housekeeping staff.

The role will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, guest comfort, and aesthetic presentation across guest rooms, public areas, wellness facilities, and back-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, villas, public areas, wellness facilities, laundry, and linen.
• Lead and supervise housekeeping supervisors, room attendants, public area attendants, laundry staff, and coordinators.
• Plan manpower, duty rosters, cleaning schedules, and daily assignments.
• Ensure guest rooms and public areas consistently meet luxury hospitality standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions wherever required.
• Handle guest housekeeping requests, complaints, and service recovery.
• Manage housekeeping inventory, operating supplies, linen, amenities, and laundry operations.
• Prepare and control the departmental budget and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Ensure proper hygiene, sanitation, disinfection, and infection-control practices.
• Ensure compliance with NABH hygiene and infection-control standards applicable to wellness environments.
• Coordinate with Engineering for maintenance issues and timely resolution.
• Train, coach, and develop housekeeping staff to improve service quality and performance.
• Promote sustainable practices such as water conservation, energy efficiency, and responsible use of cleaning products.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field.
• 8-12 years of experience in housekeeping operations within luxury hotels, wellness resorts, or hospitality properties.
• Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, hygiene standards, and hospitality service delivery.
• Familiarity with NABH hygiene and infection-control standards.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to manage large teams and coordinate with multiple departments.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic hospitality environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays when required.
