We are looking for a Facility & Maintenance Executive to ensure smooth and reliable facility and maintenance operations at the plant.
The individual will be responsible for preventive maintenance, breakdown management, plant utilities, infrastructure, facility operations and vendor coordination, ensuring minimum downtime and a safe, functional workplace.
Educational Qualification
- Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, or
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- Relevant experience in plant maintenance/facility management will be preferred, Candidate should be comfortable working rotational shifts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Facility Management
- Manage day-to-day facility operations at the plant.
- Monitor and maintain plant infrastructure, including electrical systems, plumbing, civil work, lighting, HVAC, water systems and other utilities.
- Coordinate with housekeeping, security, pest control, waste management and other facility service providers.
- Conduct regular facility inspections and ensure timely closure of identified issues.
- Ensure availability and proper maintenance of essential facility services.
2. Maintenance Management
- Execute and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Attend to equipment/facility breakdowns and ensure timely restoration.
- Maintain preventive maintenance schedules, checklists and maintenance records.
- Coordinate with technicians and external agencies for maintenance activities.
- Monitor electrical panels, DG, compressors, pumps, motors and other plant utilities, as applicable.
- Ensure availability of required tools, spares and maintenance consumables.
- Identify recurring issues and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with external vendors and maintenance contractors.
- Monitor vendor performance, work quality and timelines.
- Ensure contractors follow plant safety and operational guidelines.
- Verify completed work and maintain service documentation.
- Support verification of vendor bills against completed work.
4. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out as per company SOPs and safety standards.
- Maintain required maintenance and compliance records.
- Support internal and external audits related to facility and maintenance.
- Ensure safe practices during electrical, mechanical, civil and other maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with EHS for maintenance-related safety requirements.
5. Shift Operations
- Work in day or night shifts depending on plant requirements.
- Ensure smooth facility and maintenance support during the assigned shift.
- Maintain proper shift handovers and communicate pending/critical issues.
- Respond to urgent breakdowns and facility emergencies.
- Maintain shift-wise maintenance and issue reports.

Candidate Profile
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in facility, engineering or plant maintenance.
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in FMCG, Food Manufacturing or other manufacturing plants will be preferred.
- Strong hands-on approach with the ability to manage both routine and emergency maintenance requirements.
- Comfortable working in day/night shifts as per business requirements.
