Job summary

Galaxy Surfactants Limited (GSL) seeks an Executive – Maintenance at its Tarapur Factory to lead maintenance activities with emphasis on safety, quality, and environmental compliance. The role requires ensuring corrective and preventive actions are implemented and records are kept to meet QMS, GMP, EMS and OHSAS standards.

The ideal candidate will have a BE in Instrumentation and strong knowledge of plant maintenance, safety practices, and compliance documentation.

Qualifications

• BE in Instrumentation preferred.
• Experience in maintenance with focus on quality, safety, health and environment.
• Familiarity with QMS, GMP, EMS and OHSAS is desirable.

• Deliver maintenance performance focusing on quality, safety, health and environment.
• Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.

Primary Responsibilities:

• To deliver the Maintenance performance in terms of quality, safety, health, and environment.
• To ensure that corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
• To maintain records of Maintenance required for conforming the requirements of QMS, GMP, EMS, and OHSAS
• To ensure safety practices are being followed by technicians while carrying out maintenance jobs.
• To ensure 100% statutory compliance at the workplace in terms of safety, health, and environment and operation.
• To follow, implement and establish systems like QMS, GMP, EMS, and OHSAS and documentation of the same.
• To train operators and improve their skill level.
• To do root cause analysis of breakdown and repeated failures.
• Good Knowledge of various standards to develop systems.
• In-depth knowledge of Plant Maintenance

Educational qualifications preferred : BE in Instrumentation
