Job summary

Macquarie Bank Limited is hiring for a Data Engineer to deliver modern data platform capabilities using AWS and Kubernetes. You will develop and maintain data pipelines, support production services, and contribute to release and operational activities across the data ecosystem.

The role requires strong Python and Bash scripting skills, extensive SQL proficiency, and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, plus DBT and AWS Glue.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Cloud, Data Engineering roles with strong Python and Bash scripting skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms and core services preferably AWS.
• Experience with DBT, AWS Glue.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Big Data technologies including Hive, Spark, and Starburst Presto. DevOps.
• Expert-level SQL proficiency, including performance optimization and complex query development.
