Job summary

DP World Mumbai seeks an Executive - Branch Operation to manage warehouse activities, loading/unloading, documentation and route coordination.

You will ensure KPI targets, safety compliance, inventory accuracy, and on-time deliveries while coordinating with pickup and delivery teams.

Ideal candidate has 5–8 years in warehouse operations, strong leadership and analytical skills, and a proactive team player mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing warehouse with 5-8 years.
• Graduate or Post-Graduate degree.
• Supervision, budgets, safety, standards, processes, surveillance, inventory control, reporting, analysis.
• Team player and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical loading/unloading of trucks and containers, sorting of documents and ensuring its timely completion.
• Sorts and loads documents and boxes in a logical flow to support optimal productivity on the delivery route.
• Plans the route, re-prioritizes stops, to effectively complete pick-ups within Customer time-window and to meet defined productivity targets.
• Highlights any difference to the agreed stop count and pro-actively seeks to balance routes with the pickup coordinator.
• Performs defined pre and post trip vehicle checks and also prepares the vehicle inspection report.
• Adhere to state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation.
• Ensures the accuracy and timely completion of necessary documents and audits customer documents.
• Uses defined tools to perform accurate and timely scanning, recording and transferring of data for performance tracking.
• Ensures ongoing security of the vehicle and packages by following safety procedures.
• Dealing with customer queries and escalating to appropriate department when needed.
• Seeks opportunities to generate additional revenue and improve customer satisfaction by identifying sales opportunities.
• Regularly check inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage system.
• Manage time effectively, prioritise tasks, and take on additional responsibilities.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Ensure all KPIs are 100% achieved.
