Key Responsibilities
- Being proactive in identifying transport requirements (mode/equipment type/location/cost) based on customer demand (forecast and orders).
- Plan and optimize transportation schedules and shipment execution.
- Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Secure transport proactively through:
- contacting carriers (road) and shipping lines (sea)
- creating and tendering shipments
- Monitoring of collections and deliveries
- Attend daily/ weekly calls
- Manage and report order changes (movements, additions and deletions)
- Carrier Audits
- Run reports for daily controls cycles
- Ensure customer is proactively informed of any delays. Detailed reasons to be provided for any late shipments.
- Creation of outbound deliveries
- Attaching of orders (Release Schedule Instance/Release to confirm)
- Efficiently plan and coordinate road freight operations by optimizing routes, managing carrier performance, ensuring on-time delivery, controlling transportation costs, and maintaining high customer service standards while complying with safety and regulatory requirements.

- Additional cost management
- Operational decisions within parameters & objectives set by the scope under supervision from Team Leader
- Manage carrier capacity and support peak-volume planning.
- Financial control for the operational scope of responsibilities
- Decisions on task assignment, priorities & timing to meet objectives, achieving agreement from action owners
- Determination of communication & escalation matrix & triggers
- Track and report KPIs such as on-time delivery, capacity utilization, freight cost, and service levels.
- Follow and adhere to SOP, exception process and set guidelines
- Primary focus on the effective operation by ensuring accurate & timely Transaction
Entry in system / excel to meet Lead Time for reporting
- Should be able to schedule time effectively and should be quick & accurate to respond timely to the queries raised by using efficient work methods and tools
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure smooth operations, effective communication, and high service satisfaction
Skills and Qualification
Key capabilities / Competencies
- Experience in logistics in managing Air, ocean and road shipments.
- Must have excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Excellent typing Skills, 25w/m with 95% accuracy.
- The candidate should possess Software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) especially
- Basic knowledge of Excel – VLOOKUP, Pivot etc.
- Understanding of Transport, LLP, 3PL, 4PL Operations
- Flexible in working for various shift, including night shifts, able to handle work pressure
- Teamwork: Works cooperatively with others to achieve target and objectives.
- Accomplishes own tasks in support of team goals and actively offers to help colleagues.
- Acts responsibly. Can be counted on to keep commitments. Complies with the intent of Policies, procedures and agreements. Builds others' trust in own professionalism, Integrity, expertise and ability to get results.

Expected years of experience
(Minimum)
- Minimum 2/ 3 years' experience in Transport and LLP (3PL / 4PL) Operations.
Expected Educational Qualifications
- Graduate (bachelor's degree from a recognized University in any discipline)
