Job summary

Inoxpa is seeking an experienced Manager in Logistics to oversee packaging and export-import activities. You will coordinate customs clearance, engage with shipping lines/CHA, and ensure timely dispatches across three units. Strong knowledge of Axapta/Microsoft Dynamics and SAP is preferred.

The role reports to Head - Stores and Logistics and requires a comprehensive understanding of ISO procedures, inventory management, and team leadership in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• B.Com graduate with EXIM diploma or equivalent.
• 10–12 years of experience in logistics and import/export.
• Knowledge of store and logistics operations and ISO procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import/export activities, including customs clearance and export documentation.
• Negotiate with shipping lines and CHA for quotations and cost control.
• Ensure on-time dispatch planning and alignment with planning department.

Logistics : -

• Arrange Custom Clearance for Import Shipment
• Export Documentation Preparation
• Follow-up with PPC for on time delivery
• For Import Co-ordinate with Overseas concern person and others
• Dealing with Shipping Line and CHA for Custom clearing cost quotations, Negotiation
• and annual Contracts for import and Export clearance.
• Attend Customs Hearings / Queries of Import Authorities at JNPT Port & Air Cargo and
• resolve the issues
• Arrange freight Forwarders and CHA for Export Shipment with Negotiated rates.
• Get quotations for Export shipments and Negotiation
• Export / Import Shipments Cost Control
• Shipment Tracking
• Follow up with Shipping Agents / CHA for Documents (SB Copy, BOE, AWB Etc)
• Marine insurance coverage for Export & Import.
• Preparations for Exhibition goods
• Co-ordinate with Excise Department for Export and Import activities
• After getting Purchase Order that entered in System and according to that give
• Dispatch Planning confirmation to Customers and Co-ordinate / Discussion with Planning Department for Dispatches.

Packaging : -

• Arrange Packaging Material for Export Shipments on time and keep track on packaging material stock
• Design Packaging as per product requirements and as per requirement implement the packaging methods
• Find Suppliers for various packaging material and negotiation with them.
• Packing Cost Control
• Supplier Visit for Packaging Developments
• Development of all types of Stickers and Labels
• Packaging Improvements & Solutions.

Axapta System : -

• Creating Sales Order as per Purchase Orders and update the Delivery dates of the sales order as per confirmation received from Production.
• Keep tracking on the Pending Sales Order
• Sales Order Confirmation sent to Inoxpa S.A.
• Register Packing List and Delivery Note in system for Export Shipments
• Raise Purchase Orders for Packaging Material
• For System issues discussed with concern persons

Authority & Responsibility : -

Authority : -

• To collect the legal document on time before dispatches of material
• To force for packing, loading of local vehicles, invoicing & other export activities
• PPC dept. should confirm production date & as per that he will send Sales order confirmation
• Packing improvement if required
• Taking follow up with C & F Agent for Import shipment clearance on time

Responsibility : -

• Timely Submission of Form A & Insurance Declaration
• On time Dispatches (To catch the Vessel)
• Customer P.O. convert in Sales Orders confirmation
• Packing Material Inventory (1.5 % to Sales )
• Import Shipment Clearance in time
• All above task doing for three units.

Qualification : -

• B.Com graduate, Diploma in import-export (EXIM)

Experience : -

• 10 to 12 years of experience
