Job summary

Talentco in Thane, Maharashtra invites an experienced accounts professional to join our finance team. The role involves day-to-day processing of purchase, service and contractor bills, GST compliance, TDS, and bank reconciliations.

You will handle payment advices, vendor payments for RMC and steel, ledger scrutiny, and online GST filings, ensuring timely and accurate entries.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with strong bookkeeping skills and ability to work under management supervision.

Responsibilities

• Booking of all Purchase, Service, and Contractor Bills on a daily basis.
• Processing of RMC and Steel Vendor Payments on a timely basis.
• Performing Ledger Scrutiny and Reconciliation for all RMC and Steel vendors on a monthly basis.
• Sending Payment Advice / Confirmation mails to RMC and Steel suppliers on a daily basis.
• Booking of Receipt Entries on a daily basis.
• Booking of Payment Entries on a daily basis.
• Performing Bank Reconciliation on a daily basis.
• Preparing all daily payments and cheques.
• Having working knowledge of GST able to prepare GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, perform GSTR-2A & 2B Reconciliation, and complete online filing.
• Having working knowledge of TDS — able to book TDS as per applicable Income Tax sections during purchase/service/contractor bill bookings, perform monthly TDS payable workings, and process TDS payments.
• Performing other miscellaneous work as assigned by Management or Senior officials.
