ILJIN Electronics is seeking a GST Executive to manage end-to-end GST compliance from Polivakkam, Tiruvallur. The role covers return filing, ITC reconciliation, and audits, ensuring adherence to GST laws and regulations.

The candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in GST and possess strong Excel and ERP skills to handle portals and invoicing tasks. Collaboration with Accounts and Sales teams is essential for accurate data.

Qualifications

• B.Com/M.Com/MBA Finance or related qualification.
• Strong knowledge of GST laws, rules, and compliance procedures.
• Hands-on experience with GST portal, e-way bill portal, and e-invoicing.
• Proficiency in Tally, SAP, or other ERP/accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reconciliation formulas).
• Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills for handling vendor/departmental queries.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file monthly/quarterly/annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C).
• Reconcile GST ledgers with books of accounts and ensure correct ITC claims.
• Generate and manage E-Way Bills and E-Invoices as per statutory requirements.
• Handle GST registration, amendments, and cancellation processes.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Accounts, Sales, Purchase) for accurate tax data.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for GST audits and assessments.
• Support in GST audits (internal, statutory, and departmental).
• Track changes in GST law/notifications and ensure business compliance.
• Reconcile GST ledgers with books of accounts on a periodic basis.
• Assist in GST refund applications and follow-ups.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file monthly/quarterly/annual GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C)
• Reconcile GSTR-2A/2B with purchase register and ensure correct Input Tax Credit (ITC) claims
• Generate and manage E-Way Bills and E-Invoices as per statutory requirements
