Job summary

Vedantu is seeking a GST Executive with hands-on experience in GST compliance, return filing, reconciliation, and taxation. You will work closely with the Finance & Accounting team to ensure accurate and timely GST filings and ITC validation.

The role requires 4+ years in GST compliance, strong knowledge of GST laws, and proficiency in MS Excel and ERP tools (Tally, SAP, Oracle). Collaborative problem solving and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CA Inter or M.Com preferred.
• 4+ years of GST compliance, filing and reconciliation.
• Strong knowledge of GST laws and GSTN portal.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP tools (Tally, SAP, Oracle).
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file GST returns including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-6, and GSTR-9.
• Reconcile GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2A/2B and books of accounts.
• Validate Input Tax Credit (ITC) and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for invoice mismatches and missing credits.
• Maintain GST records and support audits, assessments, and scrutiny proceedings.
• Monitor GST regulatory updates and ensure compliance.
• Support GST-related system upgrades and data validation.
