Job summary

• Manage GST registrations and related documentation.

• Handle TDS compliance, returns, and reconciliations.
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journals and ledgers.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly closing, MIS, audits, and finance activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, auditors, and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end GST compliance and related activities.
• Prepare and file GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and other applicable GST returns.
• Perform GST reconciliations, including purchase/sales data reconciliation and ITC reconciliation.
• Review GST data, identify discrepancies, and ensure timely corrections.
• Handle GST notices, queries, assessments and departmental communications.
• Manage GST registrations, amendments and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable GST rules, regulations, and timelines.
• Handle TDS compliance, returns, reconciliations, and related activities.
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, invoices, ledger scrutiny, and reconciliations.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly closing, MIS, audits, and other finance-related activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, auditors, and consultants as required.
• Stay updated with changes in GST laws, notifications, and compliance requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• 24 years of relevant experience in GST, taxation, and accounting.
• Strong practical knowledge of GST compliance and reconciliations.
• Good understanding of TDS and other statutory compliances.
• Strong accounting fundamentals with hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting.
• Experience in handling GST notices and related matters will be an added advantage.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• B.Com/M.Com/CA Inter or relevant qualification preferred.
