Job summary

Qualifications

• Ensure timely completion of compliance and multi-client assignments.

Job Description GST & Accounting Executive

About the Role

We are looking for a GST & Accounting professional to handle GST compliances and accounting activities for multiple clients. The candidate will work closely with the Audit & Virtual CFO team.

Key Responsibilities

GST

• Preparation and filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and other GST returns.
• GSTR-2B and ITC reconciliation with books.
• Reconciliation of GST returns with books of accounts.
• Maintain GST workings and compliance records.

Accounting

• Day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping.
• Bank, customer and vendor reconciliations.
• Accounts receivable and payable review.
• Assist in monthly and quarterly closing.
• Preparation of trial balance and financial schedules.
• Accounting and reconciliation of GST, TDS, provisions and other statutory items.

General

• Coordinate with client accounts and finance teams.
• Assist Audit and Virtual CFO teams with accounting and GST-related requirements.
• Prepare MIS and financial schedules as required.
• Ensure timely completion of compliance and accounting activities.
• Handle multiple client assignments.

Desired Skills

• Good practical knowledge of GST and Accounting.
• Good working knowledge of Tally / ERP and MS Excel.
• Good analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Basic knowledge of Income Tax and TDS.
• Good communication and client-handling skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in a CA firm, audit firm, accounting outsourcing, GST practice or finance function will be preferred.

Candidates with strong practical experience in both GST compliance and accounting will be given preference.
