Job summary

DP World, Meerut, UP, is seeking an Executive Terminal Operations to oversee yard, rail, and warehouse activities and ensure timely gate-in/out and loading operations, in line with SLAs.

Candidate should have a graduate degree with at least 5 years of experience and strong proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related software. Excellent English communication is required, and a 6-day work week applies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operations in yard, rail and warehouse (EXIM/Domestic).
• MIS knowledge and productivity monitoring of operations.
• Ensure timely gate-in and gate-out as per SLAs.
• Ensure timely loading/unloading of train as per TAT.
• Follow SOPs of Yard, Rail & Gate operations.
• Prepare various reports for timely submission.
• Prevent revenue leakages and optimize cost.

• 6-day work week (Monday to Saturday), Only 2nd Saturday is an off.
• Primary objectives - To achieve faster turnaround of rake & containers
• Primary objectives - Maintain SLAs of software for Rail and Yard
• Primary objectives - Ensuring proper documentation related to s/line, customs, and Railways.
• Primary objectives - To ensure compliance related to EXIM, customs & railways.
• Primary objectives - Ensuring Proper Customer Correspondence and relationship
• Primary objectives - Ensuring Operational KPIs are achieved.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for smooth operations in yard, rail & warehouse (EXIM/Domestic).
• MIS knowledge and Productivity Monitoring of operations.
• Ensure timely gate in and gate out operations as per SLAs.
• Ensure timely loading/unloading of Train as per TAT.
• To follow strictly the SOPs of Yard, Rail & Gate operation
• Ensure to prepare various reports & showing with concerned in time.
• Ensure there should not be any revenue leakages.
• Plan to utilize equipment optimally and its proper management.
• Ensure to bring efficiency in operations by providing best timely service to customers.
• To have zero customer complaints.
• Cost saving initiatives.
• To maintain relationships with internal employees as well as with external vendors/ Customers/ Govt. authorities.
• Responsible for all warehouse functions of Inward, Put-away, Picking, Outbound and Inventory.
• Managing surveyor teams and with proper roasters and deployment of work.
• Maintaining Customer Level Operations SLA
• Proper Audit/stock take, and Shrinkage under Limits as provided by Business Team
• Maintaining Customer Level Transpiration SLA.
• Maintaining HSE Standard and submission of reports
• To follow safety and security norms of the company strictly and its implementation on the ground.

Qualifications & competencies

• Good Communication skills in English language, both oral and written.
• Qualification - Graduate / Experience - Minimum -5 years.
• To have very good knowledge of word, excel & PPT as well as Software.
