DP World in Meerut, UP is seeking an Executive Terminal Operations to drive fast rake and container turnaround, and to manage yard and rail operations ensuring EXIM, customs and Railways compliance.

The role emphasizes meeting SLAs, maintaining proper documentation, producing reports, reducing costs, and building strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, customers and government authorities. The work week is six days with one off every 2nd Saturday.

Qualifications

• Graduate with minimum 5 years of experience in logistics/executive operations.
• Good communication in English and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with software systems used for EXIM, Yard and Rail operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee smooth yard, rail and warehouse operations (EXIM/Domestic).
• Maintain MIS & productivity monitoring of operations.
• Ensure timely gate in/out as per SLAs and on-time train loading/unloading per TAT.
• Follow SOPs for Yard, Rail and Gate operations and generate timely reports.
• Prevent revenue leakage and plan equipment utilization for efficiency.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal teams, vendors, customers and government authorities.

• 6-day work week (Monday to Saturday), Only 2nd Saturday is an off.
• Primary objectives - To achieve faster turnaround of rake & containers
• Primary objectives - Maintain SLAs of software for Rail and Yard
• Primary objectives - Ensuring proper documentation related to s/line, customs, and Railways.
• Primary objectives - To ensure compliance related to EXIM, customs & railways.
• Primary objectives - Ensuring Proper Customer Correspondence and relationship
• Primary objectives - Ensuring Operational KPIs are achieved.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for smooth operations in yard, rail & warehouse (EXIM/Domestic).
• MIS knowledge and Productivity Monitoring of operations.
• Ensure timely gate in and gate out operations as per SLAs.
• Ensure timely loading/unloading of Train as per TAT.
• To follow strictly the SOPs of Yard, Rail & Gate operation
• Ensure to prepare various reports & showing with concerned in time.
• Ensure there should not be any revenue leakages.
• Plan to utilize equipment optimally and its proper management.
• Ensure to bring efficiency in operations by providing best timely service to customers.
• To have zero customer complaints.
• Cost saving initiatives.
• To maintain relationships with internal employees as well as with external vendors/ Customers/ Govt. authorities.
• Responsible for all warehouse functions of Inward, Put-away, Picking, Outbound and Inventory.
• Managing surveyor teams and with proper roasters and deployment of work.
• Maintaining Customer Level Operations SLA
• Proper Audit/stock take, and Shrinkage under Limits as provided by Business Team
• Maintaining Customer Level Transpiration SLA.
• Maintaining HSE Standard and submission of reports
• To follow safety and security norms of the company strictly and its implementation on the ground.

Qualifications & competencies

• Good Communication skills in English language, both oral and written.
• Qualification - Graduate / Experience - Minimum -5 years.
• To have very good knowledge of word, excel & PPT as well as Software.
