Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai is seeking a Team Member to join our Procure to Pay (P2P) team. The role focuses on reviewing and processing invoices, PO/Non-PO matching, and ensuring timely vendor payments while managing payment runs and aged payable analysis.

You will support SOX controls, drive process improvements, and train up to a 10+ member team on updates, SOPs, and system enhancements. A commerce or finance background with strong Excel skills is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, MBA, or related field.
• Minimum 15 years of regular, full-time education (10 + 2 + 3).
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Deep understanding of P2P process.
• Review, process and oversee invoice processing, PO/Non-PO matching, and exception handling.
• Ensure timely vendor payments, managing payment runs and aged payable analysis.
• Resolve vendor escalations, performing vendor statement reconciliations and follow-ups.
• Monitor duplicate payment prevention controls and drive process improvements.
• Support transitions and migrations by providing process expertise and validations.
• Train and upskill team members on process updates, best practices, and system enhancements.
• Drive process documentation, SOP creation, and governance compliance.

• Drive process documentation, SOP creation, and governance compliance.
