Job summary

India Ltd. is seeking an experienced civil project manager to oversee day-to-day construction activities at Mumbai sites. You will plan schedules, supervise RCC and other civil works, and coordinate with architects, engineers, MEP teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires 10+ years in civil construction, strong leadership and communication, and proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Project. Travel to project sites is expected as required.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in civil construction and project execution.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, drawings, BOQs, and quality standards.
• Experience in contractor management, site coordination, and project monitoring.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Project or equivalent planning tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team management skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day civil construction and execution activities at project sites.
• Plan, monitor, and control project schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Supervise RCC, structural, masonry, plastering, finishing, and other civil works as applicable.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Ensure execution as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress, manpower deployment, material consumption, and equipment utilization.
• Review drawings, identify site discrepancies, and coordinate resolution of technical issues.
• Manage subcontractors and contractors, including work allocation and performance monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality procedures, and statutory requirements.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Assist in cost control, quantity estimation, billing verification, and reconciliation of materials.
• Identify project risks, resolve site-level issues, and report critical matters to senior management.
• Ensure proper documentation, inspection records, and handover of completed works.
