Job summary

Quantum Intelligence is seeking an experienced EV On-Call Service Engineer / Field Service Engineer to provide technical support and repair services for electric vehicles.

The engineer will respond to customer service calls, diagnose EV electrical and mechanical faults, perform on-site repairs and provide technical support from the QI Highway EV Service Hub.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ITI/B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Automobile or EV Technology required or preferred.
• 2–5 years of field-service experience in EV or automotive repair is desirable.
• Ability to diagnose EV electrical/mechanical faults on-site.

Responsibilities

• Handle on-call EV breakdown and roadside service.
• Diagnose EV electrical, electronic and mechanical problems.
• Perform battery and BMS diagnostics.
• Diagnose motor, controller and wiring faults.
• Inspect charging systems and charging-related issues.
• Conduct battery health/SOH checks.
• Perform basic repair and preventive maintenance.
• Support electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers and cars.
• Visit customer locations for doorstep service.
• Maintain service records and digital job reports.
• Coordinate with QI Service Centre and technical team.
• Identify parts required for repairs.
• Follow EV battery and high-voltage safety procedures.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Support emergency highway breakdown assistance.
