Job summary

Skillventory is hiring an EV Buyer for an Automotive company in Chakan, Pune. Location is on-site with 5–9 years of experience and BE in EE. Immediate joiners are preferred.

Key duties include sourcing, price negotiation, RFQ creation, and supplier coordination to support pre-series and series production activities. Strong procurement knowledge and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–9 years of experience in buying/procurement or related roles.
• BE in EE or equivalent technical degree required.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Series activities: explore EV tech and link to projects to evaluate potential.
• Sourcing: negotiate prices and obtain final supplier offers; release RFQs in system.
• Series activities: ensure capacity planning to meet production targets.
• Release procurement orders in EBON/K-SRM and close supplier invoices.
• Handle change management and development activities.

Job Title: EV Buyer
Location: Pune- Chakan
Experience: 5 to 9 Years
Education - BE from EE domain desired.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-Series activities : Explore new technologies of electric vehicles and a connection to projects and evaluate potentials
• Sourcing Activities
  Price negotiation and get final offers from suppliers
  Gather inputs for releasing enquiry, Create and Release RFQs in system
  Support FS Team for Project Handover Documents and organize kick off meeting with supplier and Accessories CFT (QA , R&D , logistics ) in case of any escalations
• Series activities Ensure capacity planning in order to achieve production targets for respective responsible parts
• Tooling activities Release of Procurement Orders in EBON / K-SRM , closing of supplier supplementary invoices for cost changes

• Development activities
