Job summary

Travelex India Private Limited in Mumbai is seeking an EUC SME / Architect to shape strategy, design, and governance of End User Computing across the organisation. You will provide technical direction, design authority, and oversight for workplace technologies aligned to Cloud First and Zero Trust principles.

This role partners with global teams, mentors engineers, and drives modern workspace initiatives while ensuring security, compliance, and performance.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Azure AD/Entra ID and hybrid identity environments.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 services: Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive.
• Strong IT security practices meeting audit and compliance requirements.
• Experience with Intune/Autopilot for device management.
• Understanding of device security (Conditional Access, BitLocker).
• Experience managing Windows OS (Windows 10/11).
• Experience with VDI platforms (Azure Virtual Desktop).
• Strong Microsoft licensing knowledge and cost optimization.
• Experience with Windows 11 upgrades/migration.
• Ability to manage EUC vendors; global collaboration.
• Experience with both software and hardware solutions; user-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on EUC services design including devices and endpoint management.
• Own and maintain EUC reference architectures, standards and roadmaps.
• Govern deployments to align with standards, security controls and support models.
• Mentor engineering and operations teams.
• Identify and manage EUC vendors and partnerships.
• Evaluate, pilot and introduce new EUC technologies to improve resilience and UX.
• Identify automation opportunities across provisioning, compliance, deployment and reporting.
• Ensure alignment with cloud-first strategy and enterprise security standards.
• Support priority incidents and ensure escalation within SLA.

Role Title: EUC SME / Architect (End User Computing)

Reports to: Chief Architect
Location: Mumbai, India

Role Purpose

Responsible for strategy, design, and governance of the End User Computing (EUC) architecture across the organisation. Provides technical direction, design authority, and oversight for workplace technologies aligned to Cloud First and Zero Trust principles. Delivers support to projects and operations through design input, standards, and guidance for support teams.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide technical leadership on EUC services design including devices, endpoint management, identity, collaboration tooling, virtual desktops, application delivery and endpoint security.
• Own and maintain EUC reference architectures, standards, patterns, lifecycle roadmaps and design guardrails for enterprise use.
• Provide governance ensuring all deployments are aligned to agreed standards, templates, security controls and support models.
• Provide consultancy, mentoring and technical direction to engineering and operational teams.
• Identify and manage key EUC technology vendors and partnerships.
• Evaluate, pilot and introduce new EUC technologies that improve resilience, user experience, security or operational efficiency.
• Identify and pursue automation opportunities across provisioning, compliance, application deployment, remediation and reporting.
• Ensure alignment with cloud‑first strategy, modern workplace transformation and enterprise security standards.
• Support priority incidents and ensure escalation processes are followed within SLA.

Experience and Personal Qualities

Essential Technical

• In-depth knowledge of Azure AD (Entra ID) and hybrid identity environments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Strong experience of IT Security ensuring solutions meet audit and compliance requirements.
• Strong endpoint management experience using Intune / Autopilot.
• Strong understanding of device security (Conditional Access, BitLocker).
• Experience with Windows OS management (Windows 10/11).
• Experience with VDI platforms (Azure Virtual Desktop or AWS Workspaces).
• Strong understanding of Microsoft licensing models.
• Experience with Windows 11 upgrades/migration.
• Identify and manage key EUC technology vendors and partnerships.
• Experience with both software and hardware solutions.
• A focus on user experience.

• PowerShell scripting and automation.
