Job summary

EIL Global in Mumbai, Maharashtra, seeks an EUC Onsite Support Engineer (EUC/Desktop/Network) on a freelance/assignment basis across multiple locations.

The role is not a full-time position; you will provide on-site desktop support, Windows setup, software troubleshooting, and hardware replacements, with travel to customer sites and coordination with remote teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of EUC/Desktop support experience.
• Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office.
• Basic hardware knowledge and networking basics.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for desktops and laptops.
• Install/configure Windows OS and troubleshoot software.
• Set up and replace desktops, laptops, monitors, peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and support printers/scanners.
• Assist users with Office/Outlook issues and IMAC activities.
• Coordinate with remote support teams and update tickets.

We have an opening for an EUC Onsite Support Engineer (EUC / Desktop / Network) on a Dispatch/Freelance basis across multiple locations in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

This is not a full-time role.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for desktops and laptops.
• Install and configure Windows operating systems.
• Install and troubleshoot software applications.
• Set up and replace desktops, laptops, monitors, keyboards, and other peripherals.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Support printers and scanners.
• Help users with Microsoft Office and Outlook issues.
• Perform IMAC activities (Install, Move, Add, and Change).
• Replace hardware components such as RAM, SSDs, keyboards, and batteries.
• Support user login and password issues.
• Coordinate with remote support teams when required.
• Update service tickets and submit site visit reports.

Basic Network Knowledge

• Basic understanding of IP Address, DHCP, DNS, and Subnet Mask.
• Connect devices to wired and wireless networks.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting.
• Test and replace Ethernet cables.
• Identify network port issues and coordinate with the network team.
• Basic knowledge of switches and routers.

Requirements

• 4+ years of EUC/Desktop Support experience.
• Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel to customer sites.
• Experience with ticketing tools is an advantage.
