Job summary

Jobitus in Uppugal- Warangal is seeking an ETP Operator with 5–7 years of experience in the oil sector. You will operate and monitor ETP/STP/RO plants, ensure compliance with safety policies, and manage chemicals and plant data to maintain effluent quality.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, strict housekeeping, and active participation in HSE programs. You will coordinate with plant staff to ensure efficient treatment processes, record samples and operational data, and uphold company

Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma in Chemical Technology or equivalent is required.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in oil or related industries.
• Experience operating ETP/STP/RO and related plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with the company HSE policy and safety rules.
• Identify, report, and rectify unsafe conditions and actions.
• Inspect and operate plant equipment, monitor meters and gauges.
• Add chemicals to maintain effluent treatment plant operations.
• Collect and test wastewater samples as per standards.
• Operate ETP/STP/RO plants and related equipment efficiently.
• Record operational and analysis data and maintain plant controls.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance and housekeeping.
• Coordinate plant workers during operations and maintenance.
• Participate in all HSE activities at Mundra plant.

Job description

Position: ETP Operator

Location: Uppugal- Warangal

Experience: 5 - 7 Years

Industries: Oil

Responsibilities

• Responsible to fully understand companies HSE policy & perform to comply the same.
• Responsible to follow & adhere to the General Safety rules of the company as applicable.
• Responsible for identification, reporting, correcting & eliminating unsafe conditions & actions.
• Responsible for reporting Accidents/Incidents/Near misses within the department & premises.
• To inspect and operate plant equipment or monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges to determine load requirements and detect malfunctions.
• To add chemicals required for plant operations such as Urea, DAP, Poly electrolyte Alum/lime/Acid etc to maintain operating conditions for efficient treatment of effluent in ETP & RO plants.
• To collect and test waste water and sewage samples, using test equipment and color analysis as per the standards.
• Operate all the plants i.e. ETP/STP/RO 1 & 2, RO 3 &4 A/B, Decanter, Evaporation reactor in efficient manner to treat the effluent complying the treated quality norms.
• To record plant operational data and regular analysis data of samples collected and tested.
• To operate and adjust controls on equipment to operate efficiently so as to purify and clarify water.
• To maintain, repair, and lubricate equipment, using hand tools and power tools so as to avoid breakdowns and stoppages of plants.
• Clean and maintain tanks, filter beds, and other work areas using hand tools and power tools.
• Direct and coordinate plant workers engaged in routine operations and maintenance activities.
• Participate in all HSE related activities within the Mundra plant.
• Maintain good Housekeeping in all plants and ETP laboratory.
