The ETP Chemist will work full time, on-site at ZEXCORP’s facility in West Bengal, India, supporting the efficient and compliant operation of Effluent Treatment Plants (ETPs). This role involves monitoring and analyzing influent and effluent water quality, conducting routine and special chemical tests, and maintaining accurate records of all laboratory results. The ETP Chemist will assist in optimizing treatment processes, preparing and dosing chemicals, and ensuring adherence to environmental standards and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include calibrating laboratory instruments, documenting observations, preparing technical reports, and coordinating with plant operations and environmental engineers to resolve process issues. The role also requires active participation in safety practices, housekeeping in laboratory and plant areas, and continuous improvement initiatives for treatment efficiency and sustainability.
