Job summary

Motherson Technology Services Limited is seeking a skilled engineer to contribute to automotive Ethernet and AVB stack validation. The role requires hands-on C++ and C expertise, strong TCP/IP understanding, and experience with embedded OS like QNX and Linux.

You will engage in multi-threading, debugging, and SAFe/Agile processes within an automotive context. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in automotive Ethernet protocols, AVB configurations, and proficiency with tools like

Qualifications

• Proficient in C++ with knowledge of C; automotive domain exposure preferred.
• Strong TCP/IP stack understanding and debugging skills.
• Experience with automotive Ethernet and AVB configurations.
• Familiarity with QA/validation in embedded OS like QNX and Linux.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in programming languages, especially C++ and C.
• Understand TCP/IP protocol stack behavior.
• Work on multi-threading and synchronization techniques.
• Experience in Automotive Ethernet and IEEE 802.3u/802.3ab.
• Configure and validate the AVB stack.
• Knowledge of AVB protocols (IEEE 802.1AS).
• Use network tools like tcpdump and Wireshark.
• Experience with OS like QNX and Linux.
• Familiar with design/architecture tools like EA.
• Strong technical skills in automotive domain.
• Knowledge of SAFe/Agile development.

• Hand-on experience in Programming Languages (Proficient in C++; Knowledge in C - preferable)
• Experience and deep understanding of TCP/IP protocol/stack functional behaviour
• Experience Multi-threading and synchronization techniques
• Experience in Automotive Ethernet domain and Ethernet protocol like IEEE 802.3u, IEEE 802.3ab
• Experience in configuring and validating the AVB stack
• Knowledge in AVB protocols (IEEE 802.1AS)
• Experience in Network tools/utilities usage like tcpdump, wireshark
• Experience in operating systems, like QNX and Linux.
• Experienced in Design/Architecture Tools like EA
• Strong technical skills preferably in automotive domain
• Know-how and understanding of SAFe/Agile Development
• Logical, Analytical and Debugging/Problem-Solving skills (in TCP/IP communication)
