Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies is seeking engineers with strong C/C++ and networking skills to work on automotive Ethernet and AVB/IP stack implementations. You will analyze requirements, design software components, and validate stack functionality in QNX/Linux environments.

Responsibilities include configuring Layer2 Ethernet switches, timing optimization, and debugging with packet traces. Knowledge of AVB protocols and ASPICE/SAFe processes is desirable.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with C/C++ and networking protocols.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP stack and multithreading concepts.
• Experience in Automotive Ethernet and related IEEE standards.
• Familiarity with AVB/IEEE 802.1AS and Ethernet switch configurations.
• Proficiency with network analysis tools like Wireshark/tcpdump.
• Working knowledge of RTOSes such as QNX and Linux.
• Exposure to design/architecture tools (EA) and agile/ASPICE processes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements or specifications for AVB/IP stack implementations.
• Design and implement software components for IP stack and related features.
• Configure and validate Layer2 Ethernet switch behavior and timing optimization.
• Debug and resolve stack issues using packet traces and logs.
• Ensure compliance with ASPICE/SAFe processes and quality norms.

• Hand-on experience in Programming Languages (Proficient in C++; Knowledge in C - preferable)


• Experience and deep understanding of TCP/IP protocol/stack functional behaviour


• Experience Multi-threading and synchronization techniques


• Experience in Automotive Ethernet domain and Ethernet protocol like IEEE 802.3u, IEEE 802.3ab


• Experience in configuring the AVB stack


• Validating the AVB software stack against AVB guidelines


• Knowledge in AVB protocols (IEEE 802.1AS)


• Experience in Network tools/utilities usage like tcpdump, wireshark


• Experience in operating systems, like QNX and Linux.


• Experienced in Design/Architecture Tools like EA


• Strong technical skills preferably in automotive domain


• Logical, Analytical and Debugging/Problem-Solving skills (in TCP/IP communication)


• Analyze customer requirements or specification proposal


• Software design, Object oriented thinking, design and implementation for customer specification
