Job summary

Monq Global is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator with experience in modular furniture manufacturing. You will focus on accurate estimation, BOQ preparation, costing and producing quotes, while coordinating with design, production, and procurement teams.

The role involves preparing material take-offs, handling production drawings and ensuring timely execution of projects. Prior ERP/estimation software experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Interior Design, Furniture Design or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of modular furniture estimation experience or related work.
• Experience with ERP or estimation software is a plus.
• Knowledge of brands like Hettich, Hafele, Ebco, Greenply and similar, plus AutoCAD, BOQs and furniture drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BOQs, material take-offs and quotations.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of furniture materials, BOQ preparation, costing, production drawings, and quotation preparation. The candidate will work closely with the design, production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure accurate project estimation and timely execution. Estimators in this industry are typically expected to prepare BOQs, material take-offs, quotations, and coordinate with production and procurement teams.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma/B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Interior Design, Furniture Design, or related field.
• Min. 2 years of experience in modular furniture estimation, interior fit-outs, or furniture manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP or estimation software will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of brands such as Hettich, Hafele, Ebco, Greenply, CenturyPly, Merino, and Advance Laminates is preferred. Experience with AutoCAD, BOQs, Excel, and furniture manufacturing drawings is commonly expected in similar roles.
