Job summary

Shivtirth Civil in Navi Mumbai is seeking a seasoned Civil Estimator to lead transportation project estimation, costing, and tender pricing. You will prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and rate analyses for roads, bridges, and allied works.

The role requires strong reading of drawings and specifications, proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel, and the ability to meet tight tender deadlines with accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• BE in Civil Engineering or ME Transportation Engineer required.
• 35 years of relevant experience in transportation project estimation.
• Strong knowledge of estimation and costing for transportation sector projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Excel (advanced) and rate analysis.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs and rate analyses for transportation infrastructure projects.
• Study project drawings, specifications and tender documents to derive quantities.
• Perform quantity take-offs from AutoCAD drawings and IFC documents.
• Conduct material and resource rate analysis per market standards.
• Prepare cost comparisons, budgeting sheets and tender pricing models.
• Coordinate with site teams for actual vs estimated quantities.
• Evaluate subcontractor/vendor quotations and assist in negotiations.
• Support tender submissions with financial inputs.
• Maintain cost databases and price trends.
• Ensure estimation timelines and accuracy benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and rate analyses for transportation infrastructure projects such as:
• Roads & Highways
• Bridges & Culverts
• Urban/City Road Networks
• Transport-related drainage, utilities & allied works
• Study project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to derive accurate quantities.
• Perform quantity take-offs (QTO) from AutoCAD drawings & IFC documents.
• Conduct material & resource rate analysis as per market standards and government SoR.
• Prepare cost comparisons, budgeting sheets, and pricing models for tenders.
• Coordinate with site teams for actual consumption vs estimated quantities.
• Evaluate subcontractor/vendor quotations and assist in final negotiations.
• Support the management team during tender submission with financial inputs.
• Maintain cost databases, price trends, and historical estimation records.
• Ensure estimation meets timelines and accuracy benchmarks.

Required Skills
