Job summary

First Volt Power Services is seeking a Civil Estimation professional to prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and rate analyses for EPC civil projects in Vadodara, Gujarat. You will review drawings and tender documents, coordinate with Design and Procurement teams, and ensure accurate costing across the project lifecycle.

The role requires 2–5 years of relevant experience, strong Excel and AutoCAD skills, and a proactive approach to budgeting, forecasting, and cost control within EPC

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering is required.
• 2–5 years of experience in civil estimation/costing, preferably in EPC/infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantity surveying, rate analysis, and tender estimation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, quantity take-offs, and rate analysis for EPC civil works.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and scope of work.
• Estimate material, labour, equipment, subcontractor, transportation, and other project costs.
• Prepare technical and commercial offers for EPC tenders.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
• Prepare comparative statements and negotiate rates for cost-effective pricing.
• Coordinate with Design, Procurement, Project, Planning, and Site teams for costing accuracy.
• Maintain updated material and labour rate databases.
• Analyze project costs and support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Identify cost variations, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
• Prepare cost sheets, MIS reports, and tender/commercial documentation.
• Ensure all estimates comply with specifications and client requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in civil estimation/costing, preferably in EPC/infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantity surveying, rate analysis, and tender estimation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD.
• Good analytical, negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
