Job summary

Bridge BSS Talent is seeking an experienced Sage X3 Technical Consultant to design, develop, and implement scalable Sage X3 solutions. You will work with functional consultants and business users to translate requirements into robust technical implementations, including customization, integration, and reporting.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, data migration support, and collaboration across ERP projects, with exposure to SIT, UAT, go-live, and post-go-live activities.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years ERP technical consulting/development with Sage X3 experience.
• Experience in at least 2–3 end-to-end Sage X3 implementation projects.
• Strong experience with Sage X3 customization, integrations, reporting, and data migration.
• Good understanding of ERP business processes across Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Distribution, and Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Sage X3 based on approved functional requirements.
• Design and develop screens, windows, objects, tables, fields, inquiries, workflows, and reports in Sage X3.
• Develop Sage X3 programs using 4GL and Sage X3 scripting development tools.
• Design, develop, and support integrations between Sage X3 and third-party apps via REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
• Develop and maintain reports using Crystal Reports and Sage X3 reporting tools.
• Prepare technical specifications based on functional requirements and support SIT/UAT/go-live activities.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Sage X3 Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Sage X3 development, customization, integration, reporting, and technical support. The candidate will work closely with functional consultants, project managers, and business users to design, develop, and implement scalable technical solutions within the Sage X3 environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Sage X3 based on approved functional and business requirements.
• Design and develop screens, windows, objects, tables, fields, inquiries, workflows, and reports in Sage X3.
• Develop and maintain Sage X3 programs using 4GL / Sage X3 scripting and development tools.
• Design, develop, and support integrations between Sage X3 and third-party applications using REST/SOAP APIs, web services, import/export templates, and other integration mechanisms.
• Develop and maintain reports using Crystal Reports and Sage X3 reporting tools.
• Prepare technical specifications based on functional requirements.
• Work closely with functional consultants to assess customization requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Develop data migration programs, interfaces, and validation routines.
• Support master and transactional data migration during ERP implementations.
• Perform unit testing and support SIT, UAT, go-live, and post-go-live activities.
• Troubleshoot application, integration, database, and performance-related issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis and provide permanent solutions for recurring technical issues.
• Support Sage X3 upgrades, patches, hotfixes, and version migrations.
• Follow development standards, version control, documentation, and change-management procedures.
• Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to internal teams and customers.

• 3–7+ years of ERP technical consulting/development experience with strong hands-on Sage X3 experience.
• Experience in at least 2–3 end-to-end Sage X3 implementation projects.
• Strong experience with Sage X3 customization, integrations, reporting, and data migration.
• Good understanding of ERP business processes across Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Distribution, and Manufacturing.
• Ability to translate functional specifications into robust technical solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as within functional and technical project teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Sage X3 technical certification would be an advantage.
• UAE/GCC Sage X3 implementations is preferred.
• Experience integrating Sage X3 with e-commerce platforms, WMS, POS, banking systems, payment gateways, CRM, HRMS, and other third-party applications would be an advantage.
