You will prepare sizing calculations, review vendor drawings, and ensure compliance with Indian and international standards while supporting projects through execution and commissioning.

• Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering (full-time) from a recognized institute.
• 3–20 years experience in engineering & design of Material Handling, mining, steel or port equipment.
• Strong knowledge of machine design, drive systems, hydraulics, and structural engineering.
• Able to perform equipment sizing calculations, design validation, and engineering documentation.
• Experience in consultancy, design centres, or EPC organizations preferred.

Aufgaben

• Analyze and design belt conveyors, pipe conveyors, stackers, reclaimers, wagon tipplers, and related equipment.
• Prepare design calculations, equipment sizing, drive selection, technical evaluation, datasheets and engineering deliverables.
• Review drawings and offers to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Conduct technical bid evaluations, vendor offer reviews, and provide procurement recommendations.
• Support project teams during execution, construction and commissioning phases.
• Ensure compliance with Indian and International standards, safety regulations, and best practices.
• Provide technical support during project execution and commissioning.

Role & Responsibilities

Should have experience in analysis and design of Belt Conveyors, Pipe Conveyors, Stacker Reclaimers, Wagon Tipplers, Feeders etc.Should have detailed engineering experience in experience in stacker reclaimer, port cranes, ship loader, unloader, etc. is requiredPrepare design calculations, equipment sizing, drive selection, technical evaluation & specifications, datasheets, and engineering deliverables.Review drawings, and technical offers to ensure compliance with project specifications and industrial standards.Conducttechnical bid evaluations, vendor offer reviews and provide recommendations for procurement.Reviewand approve vendor documents, calculations, GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and design submissions.Ensure compliance with applicable Indian and International standards, safety regulations, and engineering best practices.Provide technical support to project teams during project execution, construction and commissioning phases.Experience in software like Auto Cad and Inventor for modelling is necessary

Qualification, Experience and Skills
