Yuto in Bengaluru, India seeks an EHS & Safety Officer to manage factory safety operations. You will design training modules, deliver safety programs, and maintain incident records while ensuring regulatory compliance and active risk management.

Qualifications

• Training and safety awareness delivery is required.
• Experience in safety procedures and incident reporting is preferred.
• Hands-on knowledge of safety audits and permit systems.

Responsibilities

• Preparing Training Modules as required in the factory.
• Conducting training & awareness programs on safety procedures, first-aid emergency, fire fighting techniques & equipment.
• Maintaining records of incidents and accidents.
• Taking action plans and follow-up.
• Job Safety Analysis and plant safety inspection.
• Reporting unsafe actions and conditions.
• Participating in weekly management meetings to discuss safety issues.
• Preparing MOM as per meeting points.
• Ensuring compliance to regulatory safety requirements through inspections and audits.
• Following Work Permit System for activities like chemical, electrical, maintenance, heights, etc.
• Conducting surprise mock drills.
• Preparing Hazard Identification and risk analysis.
• Maintaining EHS legal documents & safety records.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Description:

• Preparing Training Modules as required in the factory
• Conducting several training & awareness programs on Safety procedures, first-aid emergency, Fire Fighting Techniques & Equipment.
• Maintaining records of Incident and Accident.
• Taking action plans.
• Hands on experience in conducting of Job Safety Analysis and Plant Safety Inspection.
• Reporting Unsafe actions and Unsafe Conditions.
• Participation in meetings with management on weekly basis to discuss the safety critical issues to follow up.
• Preparing MOM as per Meeting points
• Ensure compliance to all regulatory safety requirements through regular inspections and audit.
• Follow up of Work Permit System within the factory as per Safety norms by peoples carrying activities like Chemical, Electrical, Maintenance, General working & working on heights etc.
• Conducting the surprise Mock drill.
• Prepare Hazard Identification and risk analysis
• Maintaining EHS legal document & Safety Records
• Fire Hydrant and Fire Sprinklers system
• Emergency preparedness plan for the organization
• Arranging & renewing necessary certifications which is required for the organization
• Interaction with colleagues in all the related works.
• Maintaining good relation with suppliers and finishing the work within the lead time.
