Job summary

Tkil invites an experienced HSE professional to join our Hyderabad manufacturing site as Plant HSE Engineer. You will support the Plant HSE Lead in ensuring compliance with policies, deliver training, and conduct audits to improve safety.

The role requires 7–10 years in manufacturing, a diploma or engineering degree with industrial safety certification, and hands-on experience with LOTO, permits, and ISO 14001/45001 systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma/engineering graduate with Mechanical, Production or Electrical specialization; advance diploma in Industrial Safety (mandatory).
• 7–10 years of experience in HSE roles within manufacturing.
• Shift Safety Engineer experience; familiarity with permits, LOTO, material handling and lifting equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support Plant HSE Lead in enforcing compliance with HSE policies and legal requirements.
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs for staff.
• Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, and track corrective actions.
• Act as Shift Safety Engineer monitoring controls and permits, LOTO, equipment.
• Identify unsafe conditions and ensure timely closure of observations.
• Assist in investigation of safety incidents and accidents.
• Maintain ISO 14001/45001 documentation and audit readiness.

Role & responsibilities

• Support the Plant HSE Lead in ensuring compliance with HSE policies, systems, processes, and legal requirements
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs
• Conduct regular HSE inspections, audits, and track corrective actions
• Serve as a Shift Safety Engineer, monitoring operational controls and compliance with permits, LOTO, material handling, lifting equipment etc.
• Identify and address unsafe conditions and acts, ensuring timely closure of observations
• Assist Plant HSE Lead in the investigation process for safety incidents and accidents
• Proficient in ISO 14K & 45K management systems, including documentation and auditing
• Expertise in HSE legal compliance and hygiene monitoring
• Skilled in HSEE planning, auditing, and reporting
• Plant-level experience in the manufacturing industry, particularly in engineering

Preferred candidate profile

• Qualifications: Any diploma/engineering graduate with specialization in Mechanical / Production / Electrical; Advance diploma in Industrial safety from a government approved institute (mandatory)
• Work Experience: HSE professional with 7- 10 years of experience
