Job summary

YANMAR in India (Punjab, Morinda) seeks a role focused on environmental compliance across Water Act, Air Act and related regulations. You will manage CTes, CTOs, maintain ETP/STP, and coordinate emissions monitoring and reporting with authorities.

You will drive ESG and resource efficiency programs, ensure waste management compliance, and liaise with PPCB/CPCB. The ideal candidate maintains 100% compliance, avoids penalties, and supports sustainable operations.

Qualifications

• Compliance with CTO/CTE conditions and discharge standards.
• Maintain 100% compliance of STP/ETP treated effluent parameters within regulatory permissible limits
• Zero environmental notices or penalties.
• 100% statutory compliance in waste management.

Responsibilities

• Environmental compliance under Water Act 1974, Air Act 1981, Environment Protection Act 1986.
• Manage Consent to Establish (CTE) and Consent to Operate (CTO) requirements.
• Ensure to maintain ETP and STP operation; ensure treated water meets applicable standards.
• Coordinate OCEMS/CEMS/CEQMS monitoring, calibration and reporting.
• Manage hazardous waste, e-waste, battery waste, plastic waste and solid waste compliance.
• Ensure compliance with MSIHC Rules, chemical inventory and SDS management.
• Ensure monitoring of emissions, ambient air quality, wastewater and noise levels.
• Support ESG, sustainability, water conservation and resource efficiency programs.
• Liaise with PPCB, CPCB and other authorities.
