Luthra Group Company is seeking a hands‑on Environment professional to ensure regulatory environmental compliance at the Surat plant. The role emphasizes GPCB/CPCB liaison, waste management, and monitoring of ETP/CETP/STP systems, with responsibility for environmental records and compliance documentation.

Candidate should have a background in Environmental Engineering and relevant safety certifications, with 4–8 years’ experience in Environment/EHS across manufacturing sectors.

Competenze

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Environmental Engineering.
• Post Diploma in Industrial Safety from a recognized institute will be an advantage.
• Certification in ISO 14001 / Environmental Management preferred.

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Environment professional with strong experience in environmental compliance, GPCB/PCB liasoning, ETP/CETP/STP operations, wastewater management, hazardous waste management and environmental monitoring.

The role will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance and effective implementation of environmental management systems at the plant.

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with GPCB/PCB, CPCB and applicable environmental laws, rules and regulations.
• Manage CTE, CTO, Environmental Clearance, Authorizations, renewals, amendments and statutory submissions.
• Maintain environmental registers, records, returns, manifests and compliance documentation.
• Monitor performance of ETP/CETP/STP and other pollution-control systems.
• Review effluent, wastewater, air, stack emission, ambient air, noise and water monitoring reports.
• Ensure compliance with prescribed discharge and emission standards and coordinate corrective actions for deviations.
• Manage Hazardous Waste, Solid Waste, Plastic Waste, E-Waste and other applicable waste streams.
• Coordinate with GPCB/PCB, CPCB, laboratories, consultants and authorized waste disposal/recycling agencies.
• Conduct environmental inspections, audits and compliance assessments and ensure CAPA / Root Cause Analysis closure.
• Support implementation and continual improvement of ISO 14001 / Environmental Management System (EMS).
• Coordinate internal and external environmental audits and closure of observations/non-conformities.
• Drive initiatives related to water conservation, wastewater reduction, recycling/reuse, waste minimization and resource efficiency.
• Prepare environmental MIS, compliance reports, performance dashboards and management presentations.
• Support EHS activities, environmental risk assessments, emergency preparedness, incident investigations and awareness/training programs.

Qualification

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Environmental Engineering.
• Post Diploma in Industrial Safety / EHS from a recognized institute will be an advantage.
• Certification in ISO 14001 / Environmental Management / Industrial Safety preferred.

Preferred candidate profile

4 to 8 years of relevant experience in Environment / EHS, preferably in:
