Job summary

Emerson in India seeks an Environmental, Health and Safety professional to lead development, implementation and continuous improvement of EHS policies, procedures, and programs across sites, with a focus on ISO 14001 management and regulatory compliance.

You will conduct risk assessments, inspections, and audits; deliver training; maintain records and data; and collaborate with operations to ensure safe practices and environmental stewardship while driving continuous improvement and

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Experience in environmental engineering
• Knowledge of applicable environmental regulations and standards
• Ability to identify risks and implement practical, effective solutions
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders in both English and Hungarian
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in documenting, reporting, and analyzing EHS data

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

• Professional certification in EHS or a related discipline (Environmental Engineer, primarily)
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments
• Familiarity with ISO14001 EMS standard
• Experience delivering training or facilitating workshops
• Knowledge of environmental management and sustainability practices
