Job description

Key Responsibilities


  • Environment, Health Safety (EHS)

  • Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.

  • Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments across the facility.

  • Implement and monitor safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.

  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and accidents and implement corrective actions.

  • Organize safety training, awareness programs, and emergency drills.

  • Monitor waste management, pollution control, and environmental compliance requirements.

  • Ensure proper usage of PPE and adherence to safe work practices.

  • Coordinate statutory inspections and maintain EHS records and reports.

  • Lead and ensure full compliance with applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations across the facility.

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS policies, systems, procedures, and governance frameworks.

  • Conduct and oversee safety inspections, audits, and comprehensive risk assessments across all operations.

  • Lead incident investigation processes, identify root causes, and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions.

  • Drive a strong safety culture through leadership engagement, training programs, and behavioral safety initiatives.

  • Plan and execute emergency preparedness programs, mock drills, and crisis management systems.

  • Monitor and ensure compliance in waste management, pollution control, and environmental statutory requirements.

  • Ensure effective implementation and monitoring of PPE usage and safe work practices across all departments.

  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities for statutory inspections, approvals, and compliance reporting.

  • Maintain and review all EHS documentation, records, dashboards, and performance reports.

  • Environmental, Social Governance (ESG)

  • Support ESG strategy implementation and sustainability initiatives.

  • Collect, analyze, and maintain ESG performance data and metrics.

  • Prepare ESG reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Monitor energy, water, waste, and carbon reduction programs.

  • Support sustainability projects aimed at improving environmental performance.

  • Coordinate social responsibility initiatives, employee welfare, and community engagement activities.

  • Assist in ESG audits, assessments, and compliance reporting.

  • Track ESG objectives, targets, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Lead ESG strategy development and execution aligned with organizational sustainability goals.

  • Define ESG roadmap, targets, and KPIs in alignment with global frameworks and business objectives.

  • Oversee collection, validation, and analysis of ESG data across environmental, social, and governance parameters.

  • Prepare and present ESG reports for internal leadership, board reviews, and external stakeholders.

  • Drive energy efficiency, water conservation, waste reduction, and carbon footprint reduction initiatives.

  • Lead sustainability projects focused on improving environmental and operational performance.

  • Oversee corporate social responsibility (CSR), employee welfare, and community engagement programs.

  • Ensure readiness and compliance for ESG audits, ratings, and third-party assessments.

  • Track ESG performance against defined targets and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
