Job summary

Deepak Fertilisers and Petrochemicals (DFPCL) seeks an experienced environmental professional to monitor ETP operations and drive compliance in line with industry standards. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of effluent collection, water balance management, and data maintenance for regulatory reporting.

The candidate should hold a BE in Environment with 8-10 years of relevant chemical industry experience and a proven track record in environmental audits and permit applications.

Qualifications

• BE Environment degree required.
• 8-10 years of relevant experience in chemical industry environment.
• Experience with effluent treatment and regulatory compliance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor day-to-day operation of ETP Plant and report deviations to process owners with corrective recommendations.
• Identify troubleshoot areas in effluent collection and treatment processes.
• Control water consumption and develop plans for water recycling and harvesting.
• Maintain environmental performance data and records for statutory and legal compliance.
• Prepare applications to PCB/MOEF for various environmental permits and compliance reports.

Role & responsibilities

• Monitor day to day operation of ETP Plant and bring out deviations to the knowledge of process owners & advise corrective measures so that the effluent meets the standards all throughout
• Identify Trouble shoot areas in the field of effluent collection, characteristics and problems in Effluent treatment
• Control water consumption and waste generation. Develop plans for Water recycle, harvesting
• Maintain environmental performance data and records related to statutory and legal compliance
• Mobilize environmental audits
• Prepare application to PCBs and MOEF etc. as and when required like, Hazardous Waste Return Filing, Water Cess Assessment, Environment Statements, Consent to Establish & Consent to Operate, Environment Clearance, EC compliance reports as and when required, CRZ/RRZ or any related act
