Job summary

Qualifications

Basic Functions:

Nucor Towers & Structures Inc, a division of Nucor, the United States' largest recycler and largest

manufacturer of steel and steel products, is seeking qualified applicants for positions of entry-level

detailer or detailer with some experience positions at our business unit located in Noida. Duties of the successful candidate include but are not limited to the following:

• Detail and coordinate in projects and assist senior colleagues in complex projects.
• Continue developing advanced detailing skills within the Nucor Towers& Structures Detailing System.
• Read technical project specification drawings, scope, technical specifications, addenda, and other contractual information received with the project and work with the supervision of senior/expert CAD Designers within the team.
• Prepare accurate 3D models and corresponding erection and shop detail drawings using Autodesk Inventor and Bluestar PLM software.
• Communicate with engineers and other internal teammates to address project questions.
• Develop the ability to support Team Leads and project coordination by preparing reports to support project deliveries.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with local and global teammates.
• Collaborate in Senior & Junior Mentorship training program to upskill yourself and help Senior Detailers.
• Perform quality control reviews of drawings and 3D models ensuring Quality assurance & Quality control practices are followed as per the latest checklist and manuals.
• Ensure all drawings and models are entered into PLM with appropriate parameters and attributes that are needed for procurement and production.

demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and

housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Able to communicate in English
• Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Draughtsman certificate, Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent
• 0-4 Years of work experience with Autodesk Inventor, Fusion, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Creo, NX, or Catia.

Preferred Qualifications:

• B.Tech in Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Drafting Diploma.
• 3+ years' work experience with regular Autodesk Inventor use.
• Competency using Bluestar Project Lifecycle Management (PLM), Fusion Manage, or similar software.
• 2+ years' utility structures industry experience especially Tubular Poles.
• Experienced with working of US standards and manuals.
