Responsabilités

• Utilize AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Autodesk Inventor to create detailed designs.
• Evaluate the feasibility of designs for manufacturing.
• Prepare detailed drawings that are sent out for production.
• Create GA drawings and part drawings of ground mount structures.
• Create 3D parts and assemblies of products for NPD.
• Apply GD&T and tolerance standards (ISO, ASTM, BIS).
• Perform tolerance stack-up analyses.
• Prepare extrusion drawings and coordinate with extrusion vendors to verify and sign-off drawings.
• Prepare fabrication drawings and coordinate with manufacturing and design teams.

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Detailer with expertise in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Autodesk Inventor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting design input, evaluating manufacturing feasibility, estimating project costs, and developing detailed CAD plans for production. This role involves working closely under the supervision of senior engineers to ensure accurate and efficient design processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Autodesk Inventor to create detailed designs and drawings.
• Read and understand design inputs for projects/products.
• Evaluate the feasibility of designs for manufacturing.
• Create GA drawings and part drawings of ground mount structures.
• Create 3D parts and assemblies of products for NPD.
• Possess adequate knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and tolerance standards (ISO, ASTM, BIS).
• Perform tolerance stack-up analysis.
• Prepare extrusion drawings and proactively work with vendors, majorly extrusion vendors to verify, modify, approve and sign-off counter drawings.
• Prepare fabrication drawings, coordinate with manufacturing team and design team to finalize drawings for manufacturing feasibility.
• Estimate costs for customer projects/products based on design specifications.
• Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products.
• Prepare detailed drawings that are sent out for production.
• Possess basic knowledge about raw materials and their applications in design and manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Design Detailer or similar role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Autodesk Inventor.

Skills

• Strong understanding of GD&T, drawing symbols, and tolerance standards.
• Excellent ability to read and interpret design inputs and customer drawings.
• Experience with cost estimation for manufacturing projects/products.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
