Job summary

Sonata Software, a leading AI-first modernization company, seeks an experienced Microsoft Entra ID Customer Engineer to deliver deep identity expertise in Microsoft cloud environments from a remote India setting.

You will design, deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize Entra ID solutions, ensure security and compliance, and collaborate with customer teams and Microsoft engineering to resolve incidents and optimize access experiences.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID and Azure AD
• Expertise in Hybrid Identity, SSO and conditional access
• Experience with identity governance, lifecycle management and RCA
• Strong problem solving and customer-facing skills

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Microsoft Entra ID services
• Troubleshoot identity, authentication, and authorization issues
• Design and optimize hybrid identity solutions
• Implement and support SSO, CA policies, PIM, and passwordless
• Support federation technologies: ADFS, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect
• Create and maintain technical docs and best practices
• Perform health checks and proactive monitoring
• Collaborate with customers to resolve high-severity incidents

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Entra ID Customer Engineer to provide deep technical expertise in identity and access management solutions within Microsoft cloud environments. The ideal candidate will support enterprise customers in designing, deploying, troubleshooting, and optimizing Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) solutions while ensuring security, compliance, and seamless user access experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and consulting for Microsoft Entra ID services.
• Troubleshoot complex identity, authentication, and authorization issues.
• Manage and support:
• Hybrid Identity
• Single Sign-On (SSO)
• Conditional Access Policies
• Identity Protection
• Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
• Passwordless Authentication
• Implement and support federation technologies including:
• Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
• SAML

• Design and troubleshoot hybrid identity solutions integrating on-premises Active Directory with Entra ID.
• Support identity governance, lifecycle management, access reviews, and entitlement management.
• Perform health checks, proactive monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Work with customers to resolve high-severity incidents and conduct root cause analysis (RCA).
• Collaborate with Microsoft product groups and engineering teams on escalations.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and best practices.
