Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Microsoft Entra ID Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise IAM and Hybrid Identity environments in our Chennai operations.

You will work on Entra ID, AD integrations, and security controls, while automating identity workflows and ensuring governance across applications.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering Enterprise IAM solutions.
• Hands-on with Hybrid Identity and Entra ID architectures.
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust security principles and Conditional Access.
• Experience automating identity workflows using Graph API and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Entra ID solutions across enterprise environments.
• Support Hybrid Identity architecture, including Entra Connect Sync and AD integrations.
• Configure Entra ID B2B/External Identity and govern Enterprise Applications and App Registrations.
• Develop automation using Graph API and PowerShell; maintain runbooks and docs.
• Provide L3/L4 support and act as SME for Entra ID services.
• Collaborate with security, IT, and compliance teams to enforce identity controls.
• Perform identity governance activities like access reviews and lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot identity, authentication, federation, and synchronization issues.

Job description

• Design, implement, and manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) solutions across enterprise environments.
• Support and maintain Hybrid Identity architecture, including Microsoft Entra Connect Sync and Active Directory integrations.
• Configure and manage Entra ID B2B Collaboration, B2C, and External Identity solutions.
• Administer and govern Enterprise Applications and App Registrations, ensuring secure authentication and authorization.
• Design and implement Zero Trust Security strategies using Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, and Identity Protection.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions using Microsoft Graph API, PowerShell, and other scripting technologies.
• Manage user lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, access provisioning, deprovisioning, and guest account governance.
• Implement and support Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), Access Reviews, Entitlement Management, and Lifecycle Workflows.
• Troubleshoot complex identity, authentication, federation, synchronization, and access-related issues.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, application, and compliance teams to enhance identity security posture.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards such as ISO 27001, SOX, audit, and risk assessment requirements.
• Perform security assessments, access reviews, and identity risk remediation activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, runbooks, and operational procedures.
• Provide L3/L4 support and serve as the SME for Microsoft Entra ID technologies and services.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to identity architecture, governance processes, and security controls.
