The Children’s Garden School in Nagpur is seeking an English Educator and Atelierista to lead a Language & Literacy Atelier and to bring Cambridge curriculum alive through project-based and experiential learning. The role goes beyond traditional teaching to nurture reading, writing, poetry, storytelling, and inquiry.
You will collaborate with a dynamic team to weave language into daily experiences, encouraging curiosity, confidence, and a lifelong love of language among Kindergarten and Primary
The Children’s Garden School is a progressive learning community in Nagpur which is growing from a kindergarten to primary to now into a K–12 institution. Our approach to education is deeply child-centered, inquiry-driven, and rooted in experiential learning.
At TCG, children learn through exploration, movement, projects, hands-on work, and meaningful real-world experiences, building the confidence, curiosity, empathy, and self-awareness they carry into the world. We believe that mathematics is a powerful medium for reasoning, pattern-seeking, and sense-making. Maths at TCG is not confined to a standalone subject of formulas and procedures, it is woven into integrated, cross-curricular learning, becoming a language through which children explore patterns, systems, and the world around them.
We are looking for a passionate English Educator who can create meaningful, interdisciplinary, and project-based learning experiences for children across Kindergarten and Primary years.
TCG follows the Cambridge curriculum, and we're looking for someone who can bring it to life through project-based and experiential learning, going beyond textbook delivery to build genuine language and literacy skills in children.
The role goes beyond conventional English teaching. The facilitator will help build and manage a vibrant Language & Literacy Atelier, where children can experiment with words, stories, and expression - exploring ideas through reading, writing, poetry, storytelling, drama, and open-ended inquiry.
The ideal candidate should be able to integrate language and literacy with storytelling, nature, design, movement, and everyday experiences, helping children see English not as a fixed set of grammar rules, but as a way of expressing, connecting, and making sense of the world, nurturing a genuine love for poetry, literature, and language itself, rather than treating it as just another subject to be taught.
They should be comfortable working within the Cambridge framework while pushing children toward advanced, higher-order thinking in reading and writing, not just grammatical accuracy, but genuine comprehension, expression, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of language. They should enjoy working closely with children, think beyond textbook-driven practices, and contribute to a culture of curiosity, confidence, and joy around reading, writing, and literature at the school.
