Job summary

The Children's Garden in Nagpur invites an experienced educator to lead and model best practices in early childhood education. You will mentor teachers, design engaging play-based curricula, and drive reflective teaching aligned with NEP 2020 and international standards.

You will collaborate with leadership to expand early years offerings, oversee documentation and assessment portfolios, and ensure smooth transitions from kindergarten to primary years.

Qualifications

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in early childhood education or related field.
• Formal teaching certification in Montessori, Reggio Emilia, IB PYP EY or EYFS preferred.
• 5–10 years of professional experience in early childhood education.
• Experience in international or progressive school settings.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Nagpur, India.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education or a related field.
• Formal Early Childhood teaching certification or training in Montessori, Reggio Emilia, IB PYP Early Years, or EYFS preferred.
• 5–10 years of professional experience in early childhood education, ideally within international or progressive school settings.
• Demonstrated experience working in culturally diverse classroom environments.
• Strong understanding of play-based, inquiry-driven, and project-based learning approaches.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Proven ability to mentor, guide, and support early years educators.
• Strong classroom leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in curriculum design, pedagogical documentation, and portfolio-based assessment.
• Familiarity with child safeguarding standards, wellbeing frameworks, and inclusive education practices.
• Openness to working in a new cultural context and contributing meaningfully to a growing school community.
• Willingness to relocate to Nagpur, India and actively engage with the school's vision and ethos.
