Job description

Role Description This full-time Engineering Technician role is an on-site position based in Calangute. The Engineering Technician will support the maintenance and reliability of hotel facilities and equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems. Daily responsibilities include performing routine inspections, identifying faults, and carrying out corrective repairs to ensure safety and uninterrupted guest services. The role involves using test equipment, documenting findings, and escalating complex issues to senior engineering staff or external service providers when needed. The technician will collaborate closely with the operations and front office teams to respond to maintenance requests promptly and help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment for guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Proficiency in using Test Equipment for inspection, measurement, and verification of electrical and electronic systems.
• Soldering skills for repairing and maintaining electronic components and minor circuit-level work.
• Effective Communication skills to coordinate with team members, vendors, and other departments, and to document maintenance activities clearly.
• Relevant technical diploma or certification in electrical, electronics, mechanical, or hotel engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Basic knowledge of safety standards and preventive maintenance practices in hospitality environments.
• Ability to work on-site in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as operational needs require.
• Previous experience in hotel, resort, or facility maintenance is an advantage.
