Job summary

Avtar is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineering Leader to oversee a team of 515 Full Stack Engineers and deliver enterprise digital products and cloud-native applications. The role focuses on architecture, performance, and scalable delivery across front-end, back-end, APIs, and cloud platforms.

You will partner with Product, Architecture, Data & AI, UX, and business teams to implement best practices, secure coding, testing, and CI/CD, while mentoring engineers and driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science/Engineering; Master's preferred.
• 10+ years in software engineering/full-stack with 5+ years of people leadership.
• Strong expertise in React/Angular, Java/.NET/Node.js/Python, REST APIs, Azure/AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 515 Full Stack Engineers to build and deliver enterprise digital products and cloud-native applications.
• Drive end-to-end application development across front-end, back-end, APIs, cloud, and DevSecOps.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, Data & AI, UX, and business teams to deliver scalable digital solutions.
• Establish engineering best practices for secure coding, quality, testing, and CI/CD.
• Lead modernization of legacy applications using cloud-native architecture and microservices.
• Ensure applications are secure, scalable, reliable, and aligned with enterprise technology standards.
• Champion Agile delivery, DevSecOps, automation, and operational excellence.
• Mentor engineering teams and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
