Responsibilities:

• Build and manage an engineering team to deliver technical products.
• Define the team's vision and technical roadmap and drive its execution.
• Design, build and support technical solutions and systems with the highest quality.
• Manage timelines and identify when deliverables are at risk and formulate alternatives.
• Work closely with engineering counterparts, product managers and business stakeholders to achieve company goals.
• Identify, leverage, and build best-in-class engineering processes to maximise work quality and team productivity.
• Coach, mentor and support every team member to grow them in their career aspirations.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills, fluent English; communicates effectively in all situations and creates an environment of open and effective communication.

• Strong understanding of technical concepts.
• Familiarity with microservices, distributed systems and event-driven architecture.
