Qualifikationen

• B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical engineering with pharma exposure.
• 8+ years of maintenance and engineering experience in regulated manufacturing.
• Experience leading utility and facility operations.

Role & responsibilities

Job Summary

Responsible for overseeing engineering maintenance, utilities, equipment reliability, compliance, documentation, and engineering operations across the Sanand Block B and Oncology Block D facilities, ensuring adherence to cGMP, GDP, and established SOPs.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive, breakdown and calibration maintenance of process equipment, HVAC, water systems and other plant utilities.
• Monitor maintenance schedules, including preventive maintenance, calibration, filter cleaning/replacement, building maintenance and AMC activities.
• Prepare, review and maintain engineering SOPs, maintenance records, URS, qualification documents and other technical documentation as per GDP and cGMP requirements.
• Initiate, review and coordinate QMS activities, including Change Control, Deviation, CAPA, Risk Assessment and Investigations through TrackWise.
• Handle SAP activities, including purchase requisitions, material reservations, inventory monitoring, maintenance plans, equipment records and related reports.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors and project teams for maintenance, equipment installation, troubleshooting and project execution.
• Ensure timely execution of maintenance activities, optimum resource utilisation, cost control and identification of energy‑saving opportunities.
• Allocate work to departmental manpower, maintain discipline and ensure employee training and role‑based competency through EmTims.
• Conduct SOP and guideline training and ensure overall engineering and facility compliance.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of plant engineering, maintenance and utility operations.
• Experience in HVAC, water systems, process equipment and preventive maintenance.
• Working knowledge of SAP PM/MM modules and TrackWise QMS.
• Understanding of cGMP, GDP, SOPs, validation/qualification and pharmaceutical documentation.
• Strong coordination, team management and troubleshooting skills.
