Job summary

Zydus Lifesciences in Solan, Himachal Pradesh, is seeking a maintenance engineer to handle electrical and mechanical breakdowns in manufacturing and packing areas, ensuring predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and adhering to good engineering practices.

The role requires coordinating with OEMs and external vendors for orders, supplies and repairs, maintaining equipment logs and SAP break-down notifications, and updating weekly and monthly breakdown reports to support safe plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Handling all electrical and mechanical related breakdowns in the manufacturing and packing areas.
• Ensure predictive maintenance of equipment for minimizing the breakdowns.
• Ensure Handling and closure of breakdowns in the SAP through breakdown notifications.
• To Ensure proper handling of logbooks in daily routine.
• Inspects and identifies equipments in need of repair.
• To monitor Budget and Inventory for procurement of the spare parts to minimize the Breakdown time.
• Ensure Installation and qualification of newly Installed Equipments.
• Coordination with the OEMs and external vendor for Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Maintaining the inventory records for equipments and supplies.
• Update the authorities with weekly and monthly breakdown reports.
• Ensure proper implementation of good engineering practices inside the plant premises.
• Ensure Safe Condition in the plant premises to avoid any accident.
